- Varaktighet: 4 Timmar (cirka)
- Plats: Monteverde, Puntarenas
Monteverde is internationally recognized as one of the most important birdwatching destinations in Costa Rica, home to more than 400 recorded bird species, including several cloud forest endemics.
This early-morning tour takes place at the most productive time of day, when bird activity is at its peak and forest conditions are ideal for observation and photography. The experience is led by specialized local birding guides with extensive knowledge of regional species, vocalizations, and habitats.
Birding locations typically include prime areas in the Monteverde region and the Curicancha Reserve, well known for its high diversity of hummingbirds, tanagers, trogons, toucans, and seasonal sightings of the Resplendent Quetzal.
Tours are operated in small groups to minimize disturbance, increase individual attention, and allow for better viewing opportunities through spotting scopes and binoculars.
